This worksheet accompanied an EU Code Week event in partnership with a local family resource centre. In addition to helping them apply for the funding to purchase several mBots, I designed a worksheet to help the kids figure out how they would direct their mBot around the maze.
MakeBlock mBots are small, robust and sturdy robots that can be programmed using Scratch-style blocks, with their mBlock program.
The worksheet is designed to help the kids plan their approach, and give them clues about how to solve the problem in case they get stuck. It includes areas for them to scribble ideas, and some code hints too.

Can’t get a hold of an mBot? This should also be possible with other similar programmable robots, such as the Edison, the SunFounder PiCar, Cozmo, or the Thymio.
